The main economic sector of the Eroğlu Group is textiles. Our group has grown both vertically and horizontally in this sector. Starting from 2004, R&D studies into new sectors have been initiated, and in 2006, the construction sector was determined as the new field of activity. Hence, our group is no longer only a textile company.

The main economic sector of the Eroğlu Group is textiles. Our group has grown both vertically and horizontally in this sector. Starting from 2004, R&D studies into new sectors have been initiated, and in 2006, the construction sector was determined as the new field of activity. Hence, our group is no longer only a textile company.

As Eroğlu Companies Group, we are planning to transfer our success in textile industry to construction sites as from 2007. For this reason, we have structured the headquarters in Istanbul and our representative company in Moscow, Russia. Some of our most important projects will be invested in other countries in the region over the next 5 years, and it is our aim to be one of the leading players in the contracting business while developing investment purposed real estate projects.

Eroğlu construction laid the foundation of its growth in the construction industry, in the second half of 2006 by developing a shopping center (SC) project in one of Istanbul’s key locations, the ex-Vakko factory in Merter. This project will be a major shopping center with approximately 40.000 m² of retail space for rent and nearly 100.000 m² of construction area.

In addition to, the development of an A Class office and residential project at the TEM Ümraniye intersection, which is one of the fastest developing centers on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul, on land having 80.000 m² of saleable area and a construction area over 120.000 m², a series Bosporus scenic villas on 28.000 m² on the coastal road, in the center of Sarıyer is planned.
The development stage of a SC project, in the center of Tekirdağ on the point, which it can be defined as a “Down Town Center” has been completed and construction activities have started. The mixed-usage area will have 25.000-m²-rental space for retail purposes, with market research studies about to be completed on other land uses to be add to the project.

SC projects that we have conducted in Bauma Street (equivalent of İstiklal Caddesi) in Kazan (the third biggest city of Tatarstan) and A Class office projects in the city center of Moscow can be defined as important projects in terms of real estate value although small in scale, in this huge market.

These initial projects demonstrate how assertively and vigorously we have begun to tackle this sector. The projects also display our desire to make the name Eroğlu one of the most important players in real estate development in 5 years.  
From now on, our name will be seen more often on the projects of residences, shopping centers, office buildings, entertainment facilities and urban transformation.

In the next 5-10 years, the Eroğlu Group will aim to make significant progress in the real estate and construction sectors, and it is our desire that, with bold steps, our name will be as familiar in the construction sector as it in the textile and clothing sectors.
